In the three and six month programs, I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at lifestyle balance through the lens of all seven dimensions of wellness and how they are connected. The ingredients that create vibrant lives aren't just the food we eat, they are the physical, emotional, spiritual, vocational, intellectual, environmental, and be nourishing or defeating. For instance, does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? What does a healthy lifestyle look like to you? Imagine what it could mean to you to create a healthy balance in all areas of your life and achieve the best vision of yourself possible?
In our shorter programs such as the 14 and 21 day detox, cleanse and jumpstart programs we focus on crowding out the junk foods, cleansing the mind and body, trying new foods, and implementing new habits during three phases of each program. The backdrop to these programs is getting in the kitchen and learning the why's, when's & how-to's of preparing and enjoying simply prepared food that doesn't require a great deal of time in the kitchen.
